There are several methods for printing designs on t-shirts, including screen printing, heat transfer, embroidery and digital printing.

                  SCREEN PRINTING

SCREEN PRINTING

Screen printing is a popular method for printing large quantities of t-shirts, as it is relatively inexpensive and allows for printing a wide range of colors and designs. The process involves creating a stencil of the design (called a "screen"), and then using that screen to apply layers of ink to the t-shirt.

You will be required to pay a set up cost for the screen. Setup costs may vary depending on design specifications.

               HEAT TRANSFERS

                   DTF/DTG/VINYL

DTF/DTG

DTF, or direct-to-garment printing, is a method of printing designs onto textiles, such as t-shirts, using film and specialized inkjet printers. In this process, the printer applies the design directly to the garment or film using ink that is absorbed by the fibers of the fabric. DTF printing is digital printing method.

One advantage of DTF printing is that it allows for a high level of detail and accuracy in the printed design. It is also a relatively fast and cost-effective method for printing small quantities of t-shirts.

DTF printing is commonly used for printing custom t-shirts for personal use or for small businesses. It is also used in the production of limited edition t-shirts and other clothing items.

VINYL

Vinyl print transfers for t-shirts are a popular method for creating custom t-shirts, especially for businesses and organizations. The process involves printing a design or text onto a sheet of vinyl using a special printer. The vinyl sheet is then cut to the desired shape and size using a vinyl cutter or a pair of scissors.

To apply the vinyl print transfer to a t-shirt, you will need a heat press or an iron. First, place the vinyl print face down on the t-shirt and cover it with a piece of heat-resistant paper. Then, using the heat press or iron, apply heat and pressure to the vinyl print for a few seconds until it sticks to the fabric. You may need to adjust the temperature and pressure settings based on the type of vinyl and t-shirt you are using.

Vinyl print transfers are durable and long-lasting, making them a great option for creating custom t-shirts that can be worn and washed multiple times. They also offer a wide range of design possibilities, as you can create virtually any design or text using the vinyl print process.

                       EMBROIDERY

EMBROIDERY

T-shirt embroidery is a popular method for adding logos, monograms, and other decorative elements to t-shirts, and is often used by businesses and organizations as a way to promote their brand. It is also a popular hobby and form of artistic expression.

Embroidery can add a high-quality, professional touch to t-shirts, and is generally more durable than other methods of printing or decoration, such as screen printing or heat transfer. However, it can be more time-consuming and costly than these other methods, especially for large quantities of t-shirts.

                           SUBLIMATION

SUBLIMATION

Sublimation is a printing process that involves printing an image or design onto special transfer paper using sublimation ink. The transfer paper is then placed onto a substrate, such as a t-shirt, and pressed using heat and pressure. The heat causes the ink to turn into a gas, which penetrates the fibers of the fabric and bonds with them to create a permanent image.

Sublimation is a popular method for printing t-shirts because it allows for full-color, high-resolution prints with a wide color gamut. It is also a fast and cost-effective method for printing small quantities of t-shirts. However, sublimation is not suitable for all types of fabrics, as it requires a substrate that is receptive to the sublimation process. Polyester or polyester-blend fabrics are the most commonly used substrates for sublimation printing.

Sublimation prints are generally long-lasting and durable, and do not crack or fade over time. They are also resistant to water and sweat, making them a good choice for athletic and activewear.
